This week’s TravelCommons podcast comes from the East Coast — recorded in the Mystic Marriott in Groton, CT. This week, I talk about recent experiences with rental cars, airport celebrity sightings, and my efforts to get out of my travel ruts. Here’s a direct link to the podcast file.
Here are the shownotes from the TravelCommons podcast #5:

Mr. Peacock,
When I load this podcast into my library it is named “Travelcommon #5”.
#1-4 are named “Travelcommoms” (with an “s” at the end)
This causes #5 to be listed just below #1 instead of just below #4 in the Library.
Do you control the naming rights?
Can this be revised?
A loyal fan….
Fixed it. I fat-fingered the Track title on the ID3 tag, which is I think what iTunes uses to load Song Name.
Sorry ’bout that. I’ll flog the QA elf a bit later tonight.
Regards,
Your loyal podcaster
FYI – Pocast #5 cuts off in the middle of where you are talking about airport celebrity sightings. Checked the direct link after the one I downloaded on itunes did it and both do the same thing.
Hmmm, thanks for the pointer. I’ll check it out and reload the file. I wonder if I had problems after I redid all the files to include the T/C logo in the ID3 tag.
Regards,
Mark
This has been a troublesome episode from the QA standpoint. Looks like that the file transfer didn’t complete when I re-uploaded this episode earlier this month. Thanks for the pointer. I’ve re-uploaded the file and it should be fine now.
Thanks,
Mark
